i still laugh at the noah pick. between big ben's huge contract, picking noah and firing skiles...they deserve to pay their stupid tax and suck
I would take him! Would love to have someone like Thomas roaming around the paint coming out of the weakside to block some shots. Something we have lacked since Cato (lol). Also gives us athleticism. He is limited as a tweener, offense is raw, probably will never be a consistent shooter, but I see a lot of teams that could use his skill set.
Nothing will sink an NBA franchise faster than a bad player with a bad contract. Bad can mean many things, of course; one of them being attitude.
Why is the Heat getting national broadcast almost every week? Is ESPN not allowed to change their schedule?
I knew the Bulls made a big mistake when they signed Wallace. Sure enough. That signing would set them back for at least a few years in rebuilding. Why do you want to sign a big contract with a guy like Ben Wallace when you are building with a bunch of promising young players?
Noah is fast becoming my favorite player. It would be a shame if the selfish world of the NBA took away this kid's passion. Chicago needs to do the world a favor and trade him to a winner.
Ben Wallace is an ass and team cancer, no question about that. Still won't diminish his prior production as being "Rasheed aided". He was on the All-NBA team and won DPOY TWICE before Rasheed Wallace joined the Pistons in midseason. Didn't Wallace have issues with Flip cuz he didnt involve him on offense more? Ironic in that the Bull's would love to have him contribute defense OR offense, something to earn that money.
I would take either Noah or Tyrus Thomas. Tyrus may be a headcase like Stro, but he can rebound way better. You can always use extra rebounder.
http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/01/16/joakim-big-ben-cant-live-together/ Joakim, Big Ben Can't Live Together Posted Jan 16th 2008 3:06PM by Tom Ziller Filed under: Bulls, Kings, Chicago This whole Joakim Noah v The Chicago Bulls battle does not look like it is going away anytime soon. After last weekend's smiting of Jo at the hands of Bulls veterans Ben Wallace and Adrian Griffin, Noah seemed more hurt and confused than remorseful and newly learned. Then as Wallace laughs on the bench in the midst of another bad loss, should we be surprised Noah's emotions turned to anger? From Sam Smith in the Chicago Tribune, via TrueHoop: Falling to 14-22 and hardly competitive, several Bulls players on the bench late seemed relatively indifferent to the result. It was perhaps a worse message than the events of the evening, which were discouraging as well. Apparently it led to a dispute in the locker room as rookie Joakim Noah complained about the attitude on the bench and argued with veteran Ben Wallace. One witness said Luol Deng had to step between them to ease the tension. Wallace is borderline untradeable. Noah is a cheap rookie. Neither seems to be backing down (and I cannot imagine either Deng or Jim Boylan is particularly ecstatic about playing peacekeeper between the two). I wouldn't be surprised if the Bulls traded Noah tomorrow. In fact... Sacramento was hot and heavy for Noah in June. Chicago considered Spencer Hawes before selecting Jo. With the next pick, Hawes became a King. Hawes has been OK in spurts, same as Noah. Think either team would reject a straight-up trade at this point?
It is getting funnier by the day... http://canadianpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5g7Zx2Q7CPe7T245NUQR5Oc5rw86w
Funny that you compare to Cato cause that's what he'll be: another Cato. In fact his game is basically Cato with a bit more athleticism. And then he'll get a fat contract and really play like the Cato we remember (crappy). He has a good role model in Ben Wallace to follow that type of career. Noah seems to have the best attitude amongst the 3. But then again he's been late to practices. I'd propose a Mike James/Kirk Snyder for Nocioni/Noah but I know the Bulls would laugh at that. *nm, tried it on the trade machine, got rejected *
Instead of fighting Ben Wallace, he ran into the stands to fight little white guys, b**** move? Someone post the video of him literally running away from Ben.....
This is for prof.. hopefully he sees it. A great line about Noah... http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5470188.html After a week in which he was suspended by his teammates for his irresponsibility and got into a squabble with Ben Wallace about Wallace goofing on the bench late in a loss, Bulls rookie Joakim Noah has become the face of Chicago's stunning fall this season. But Bulls coach Jim Boylan offered at least a hope that Noah will grow out of it. "Joakim and his personality is a positive for our team," Boylan told the Chicago Tribune. "To me, he's just like a puppy. You get your puppy and you pet him, you play with him and he's fun. Then you wake up the next day and he ate your best pair of shoes. Once you deal with that, he's still your puppy and you love him."
