The OP will one day realize the scope of the Rockets and look back at his post as a complete humiliation.

Ariza was arguable the best player on the team last year.

I won't. Because the Rockets do not stop at Player A: Player B: Player C: Player D: Player E etc etc

Each player is more than just a set of stats

Why did u find that so funny? If I was to say CP3 is the best player in the division, are you gonna laugh, too?

Ariza did everything a star was supposed to do and more. He was a great source of steals, 3 pointers, rebounds, assists, as well as excellent defense.

Now compare that to one dimensional players like Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola and tell me Ariza is not better than them.

Please. 3000+ quotes and your bragging about a green dot.

With that being said, that was one of the worst post I have ever read, not because it was grammatically incorrect, but simply because it's the complete opposite of everything the current rockets team stand for.

I was one of the biggest fans of T-Mac game. I believed he had one of the best skill sets, and was one of the most naturally talented players to ever see the floor.

Of T-Mac himself, I have very different feelings. T-Mac was a whiner and a diva, and if I was coach, I would have sent his sorry ass straight to the bench and he would not come off until he proved himself in practice.

The amount of fun I would have had testing the limits of his heart. There is a reason one of the greatest talents of all time couldn't get out of the first round, and It's not because he wasn't skilled enough. It's because he refused to keep playing, despite adversity. The second an obstacle was in his path, he crumbled. If he had only had the will to keep working out and rehabbing, that 09 team of Artest, Yao, and T-Mac could have been extremely special. hell, if T-Mac was still the first option, and Yao had less of a workload, he may have never gone down to begin with.

If you want a "star power," please go watch another team. I would rather have 0 star power after watching this team go to war.

I am a fan of basketball, first and foremost. My rockets come second, and every other NBA team comes last. When a group of guys can truly play team basketball, especially in the NBA, an extremely 1 on 1 oriented league, It makes me giddy watching.

That being said, I loved Ron. He was the epitome of what I admire in basketball. He hustled his ass off every damn play and made sure that if he wasn't getting that loose ball, nobody was. It didn't matter that he had some star power of his own, he played every game like it was his last.

Is that you, Fran Blinebury? You know, you have a job to do, and I don't think it's trolling on a fan website.

Don't even get me started on Ariza. He was beaten by his man very frequently, was often got out of position, and took to many gambles on defense when he didn't have a big man behind him to hide his mistakes.

Ariza's man to man defense was never excellent, even when he was trying, and the games he took off, it was even worse.

I have 1st row tickets on the floor, and I could see the bored expression on his face as he ran back on defense. I wanted to get out of my chair and slap him senseless. Sure it's just the regular season, I dont expect any player to give 100% every time, but come on man! He's getting paid to play an amazing game. I expect more out of him.

On offense, he wasn't a star, that's for sure, but he was just trying to expand his game. Any player that tries to better themselves, no matter how ugly the results, I'm okay with. Play-off time, it's a different story, but regular season. That's okay. Keep improving. Try new things, add to your game.

However, if his defense suffers with more usage like it did last season, then he needs to be reeled in.
