in theory yes, you would like to put away lesser oppts. early but that isn't the case all the time. Wins can come in all kinds of different ways to be honest I don't care how they come as long as they continue to come.

This guy catches everything that comes down the pike. He's the Sam Bowie Humpty Dumpty of the modern basketball era.[/QUOTE]

Sam Bowie only had foot/leg problems. And Humpty Dumpty always gets right back up again. This dude is in a class all his own.

I'm not accusing him of faking sickness. But there are already too many instances of this crap during his tenure with the Rox to give him a free pass now. He's a professional making close to $20M per annum off this franchise. He has a personal cook, his own private plane, an army of various physicians at his beck and call. There is no excuse for him not to be watching his health every day of the season and especially in preparation for a game as big as tonight's.

And aside from this particular instance, his overall attitude for much of this season is just pathetic. From his non-existent defense to his atrocious free-throw shooting. Great players work all summer adding new dimensions to their game. Tmac hasn't improved any skill whatsoever in the past 5 years. Dude can't even shoot freethrows at a non-embaressing clip at this point. Sure sure he's still much better and far more productive for us than Yao is. But Yao still deserves respect because despite his obvious physical limitations he still gives 100%. Even when he's playing like crap and making mental mistakes he's still contesting shots from all 5 opponents on the floor. Tmac doesn't even try to hold his own man for 2 straight possessions. He's just an utter waste of probably one of the top 5 basketball talents all-time. Fabulous talent, weak mentality.

True, we didn't lose at home to an Eastern team like the Sixers without T-Mac.......oh wait.

On a slightly more serious note, sure we can beat the Cavs without T-Mac. But what's frustrating is that we need the guy if we're gonna go anywhere in this conference and it's damn near impossible to establish any consistency on offense if we can't keep him on the floor. If he doesn't play tonight, that'll be 16 games he's missed. A third of the damn season so far! And I'm not counting games where he's left early(i.e. at home against Fakers and Magic).

When did Tmac get Tiny Tim's immune system and durability? I half expect to see him walking around with a crutch and speaking with a British accent before he turns 30.

Lebron was elbowed by Deke in their 1st meeting too and had to wear a mask. Maybe Deke can do it again tonight. :D

Hmm, so to date TMac has pretty much kicked LeBron's ass head to head, yet now he's "ducking him."

There are some amazingly dumb people in this world.

I've had upper respiratory infections before but not severe. It's NOT FUN.

Hope it's not that severe where he can't play.
