Rox have won several games just because of TMACs return to the team but at the same time he is prone to everything
Everyone is prone to the flu...... Give the guy a break, let's see if he plays or not.....even if he doesn't play, the Rockets can still win this game. DD
If he's sick, he's sick - I don't understand all the hating on the guy. I hope he gets well fast, but even without him, we should have a good chance to beat the Cavs!
Injuries happen by chance, and so does getting sick. You can try and avoid it, but it can still happen. It's not like someone goes out trying to get hurt and sick. And accusations that they are faking it...I'm not even going to speak on that b/c it's so stupid. A lot of people here have a slanted view of reality.
Who usually defends Lebron when T is out? Actually, who is Supposed to defend Lebron? I just remember Tmac clamping down on Lebron a couple years ago (when Deke stabbed Tmac's face with his elbow) and we still ended up winning that game. I hope their shooters are gonna be ice cold tonight cus we need to double and trap Lebron as much as possible.
Not in single coverage. James is way too long and quick for Battier. We'll have to double and hope the rest of the Cavs don't kill us. James is a beast. A healthy McGrady could guard him.
Shhh you shouldn't say that or else something will break with him But seriously though does this guy have the worst luck or what? How many injuries must this guy go through in a season?
I kept thinking that Tmac usually guards LBJ ever since that game. I must have a severe case of being delusional.
half of you guys are not fans, if you were half a fan you would at least wish him to get better soon, i swear this assholes piss me off
Everyone may be prone to the flu. That's what flu shots are for!!!! This guy catches everything that comes down the pike. He's the Sam Bowie Humpty Dumpty of the modern basketball era. By the way, I sure hope he gets well soon, as in about 5 1/2 hours. And I am a huge fan of him and the Rox, not a hater, just calling it like I see it. Dude can't stay on his feet.
Obviously, a player like LeBron you can't single coverage, not even a healthy T-Mac which he's currently not and hasn't been all season really. He'd probably do that in late 4th quarter situations, but I doubt he does it for the whole game, his defense has been sup-bar this year to say the least.
Maybe just what we needed, see if Battier can finally explode and get 30+ and take Lebron out of the game. I don't think it's going to happen though so this was just what we needed T-mac out means a loss definetly. Damn, i finally get to see a game live in HD !! and T-mac is probably (not 100%) out. That means no dunks, i wanted to see the Rockets explode. T-mac with a ton of dunks since Lebron is going for his every night. That's what we miss too, people who want to dunk. Thorpe, Olajuwon, Horry, Kenny, Herrera, Elie & occasionally Maxwell: all dunkers. We have Yao, T-mac, Landry & an occasional Head or Bonzi dunk. I think we are one of the teams with least dunks per game. We need some dunks people to get the crowd into it and get the team fired up. Let's start Landry at SF tonight if T-mac's out. This is the night he's got to be there and dunk all night long. Put Battier at SG and the rest the same. Battier of course guards Lebron but let's see if something interesting might happen.
Give Tmac a break, any sickness is serve for him!!!!!! Did you Yao miss a game too, Yes. The difference is 1. Yao asked to play, Trainer/Doctor say No. 2. At a interview day after the miss, Yao said he will NEVER EVER miss a game like for flu, and he feel SHAME about that. 3. T-mac agree to play at that morning, and he make a CALL for not playing at afternoon, plus some his chef also sicked, he has to eat out stuff...
Doesn't the article say that TMac wants to play tonight? I know, you'll say of course he will say that. But he could have just not said anything, and nothign woul be reported. But he said he WANTS to play tonight. I have no idea why you are making Yao out to be the good guy and Tracy out to be a bad guy. You know they BOTH play for our team right?
I don't blame him for the sickness. However, for almost all the games since he came back, they weren't pretty win, even against those sub-par or average teams, right? I do not agree the so called "take over a game" thing, it was overvalued too much. Well, against an elite team or occasionally against sub-par team, the star should take over at the end of the game. But when playing against average teams, should you establish the lead most part of the game and don't need to worry about it in the last few minutes (of course, you still need to work hard late in the game, but that is totally different from trading leads or let the opponents with just a couple of points behind)?
