    east side west side..........LOL

I just want to say this if this was any one of us who work a real job and missed as much work as he did we would be unemployed......respritory infection, correct me if i am wrong but didn't he have flu like syptoms a couple of weeks ago too and missed a game and had a 24hr recovery? i personally have never had the flu and then the next day I am fine? I am a b**** when it come to the flu 3-5 days max..but is still have a job! Please Morey trade his ass to Miami for Wade and White Chocolate. Throw in James for good measure.

You know the sad part is us as fans hear all the hype about this game and the Official Rockets Website has "T-Mac vs Lebron" BS everywhere and the reality is that he is not going to play. You buy the tickets as a fan and the jerseys and the food and all the bs to go to a game and we don't have our best guy out there. When are we going to wake up and wash our hands of him....while he still has some value. Wake up fellas

So any update on Tmac yet? I know it's still early, but I was really hoping he'd play. For the doctors out there, how bad can an upper respiratory infection be??

Some people in here should really just be banned from talking about Tmac. We've all had our frustrating moments with him, but seriously give the guy a damn break.

Man I' am really pissed. I bought tickets to this game this week THINKING that Tracy was back healthy and was going to see him go against LeBron. Of all the games Iv'e been to since we got T-Mac I have only seen him play ONCE in person  I still love McGrady but man...

It's gotten to the point that you're almost glad when you read the report and realize its an infection and not knee or back pain. The guy just stay on the floor.

I think it might be too early. I hope we get an update soon.. and a positive one too. He's probably gonna be a game time decision.

However, I think we can take the LeBrons without Tmac.

    Guys,

Give him a break, if he is sick, he is sick....

Let's just hope it does not spread to the rest of the team.

If anyone did know for sure, don't you think it would be posted already?

Yeah, I have tickets to the game tonight as well. Only my 2nd of the season and the first was the utah game last Sunday. I think I might be cursed.

This board has some of the most ignorant fans you can find.

Seriously the hating has gone beyond the childish level.

McGrady treated for 'severe' respiratory infection
Rockets guard 'hopeful' he can play against Cavaliers

    By JONATHAN FEIGEN
    Copyright 2008 Houston Chronicle

The Rockets’ hopes to get on a homecourt run before the All-Star break might have been sidetracked Thursday when guard Tracy McGrady was forced to miss the morning shootaround with what was termed “a severe upper respiratory infection.”

Rockets spokesman Nelson Luis said McGrady, who was being treated at Memorial Hermann Hospital, was “hopeful” he could play against the Cavaliers.

The Rockets have won 8 of 9 games since McGrady came back from injuries to his left knee, losing only in the game that center Yao Ming missed with an upper respiratory infection. They won one of those games with McGrady out with the flu.

Though just 12-9 at Toyota Center this season, they are 8-4 when both McGrady and Yao play.

Since no one knows yet whether he will play or not tonight, everyone calling him out for already "not playing" needs to STFU

Well I'm not too familiar with respiratory infections. I read the "severe" part, but don't know how long someone could be out from that. I've had severe diarrhea before, and that got me 3 days of staying in bed. Hopefully Tmac's isn't as bad.

All of the aaronbrooks_ab posts (and responses) have been removed. Please use the "report this post to moderator" function rather than reply... it creates more work for me when there are numerous replies.

For those curious, aaronbrooks_ab is a previously banned member (yao_fan_2007).
