i always knew in the back of my mind he was going to play. tmac understands how big this game is and how big the 4 game home stand is in general. this could really put this team in a good position for the stretch run.

its really unfortunate to see posters just degrade tmac as a human being sometimes.

hope the team plays with an extra gear for tmac tonight and bring home a victory. this game should have yao written all over it :D

I just hope we dont have the same down the stretch issues we had prior to T-Mac's return if he can't go for long tonight.

    Let's see...

Last time they played against each other..

March 5, 2007 Rockets lost 85-91 with Tmac having 25 pts and Lebron had 32 pts.

Dec 2, 2006 Rockets won 81 to 63 with Tmac having 7 pts Lebron had 21 pts.

    March 26, 2006 Rockets lost 102-104 OT Tmac DNP(Lebron-Itis) 0 pts Lebron 36 pts

    Jan 5, 2006 Rockets won 81-90 Tmac 34 Pts Lebron 32 Pts

    So...their record is EVEN...The last 2 years.

How is Tmac DOMINATING Lebron the last 2 years?

Didn't McGrady miss a game a couple of weeks back (the game after the one Yao missed) due to the flu?

What next? Elbow strain? Back pain? Leg fatigue?

Keep going down the list T-Mac. Meanwhile, Kobe is tearing apart teams.

5-3 head to head. T-Mac averaging over 30 ppg.

That Lebronitis in 06 sure must have been bad. It caused him to miss about half the season.

in 05-06 tmac must have had also court-itis b/c he missed a lot of court time that yr

and that game where he had 7 pts, he had deke-itis b/c deke literally caused an inflammation to his face.

what he meant to say was in general, tmac has had the upper hand whenever these 2 match up.

tmac has avg 31 ppg while lebron 23 ppg in their career head-to-head matchups.

Kobe dislocated his fingers, he kinda of tie 2 finger together.

I recall Yao did that before, also not shooting well.

Yo, Adrian! Cue up the Rocky Theme!
    Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da!

Tonight in the role of Rocky Balboa: T-Mac.

After spending most of the day at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital being treated for an upper respiratory infection, the word less than an hour before game time is that Tracy McGrady is on his way to the Toyota Center.

It's still a game-time decision. But he can't play if he's not in the building. It's a positive sign.

If he plays, can we call him T-Rock?

The game before that? 30 points, off 10 for 15 shooting.

Nice that you didn't mention that. Also, Kobe's team is winning. They're in the playoffs - and that was before they got Gasol.

    Yeah, he's good.

    Sucks.

Yao missed one as well with the same thing. But I'm sure he didn't get ripped for it

    march 24th 2005: Rockets embarrass Cavaliers 99-80
    McGrady: 31 points
    LeBron: 19 points

the other matchup in that season was in december, Tmac scored 34 points in a Rockets win, Lebron had 3 points in 17 minutes shooting 0-5 WITH MCGRADY ON HIM, LeBron left the game after 17 minutes because of a Deke elbow to the ugly 90-year-old face, I guess he was saving his total pwnage for the 2nd half right ???

next time, when you decide to use statistics to support your argument, use all of the stats, not just "the last 2 years", including a season where Tmac was injured the whole time .. that's assuming that you consider getting embarrassed on clutchfans a bad thing...

Looks like it's already been posted, but T-Mac was on his way to the Toyota Center because he wants to give it a shot. I he's going to be strapped to an IV with antibiotics from what I'm hearing. I don't think he's a lock to play ... we'll see.

RocketsMac -- you're an embarrassment to the board. Stop posting.
