No, this is not the same team that collapsed against the Kawhi-less Spurs

Friendly reminder -- this is not the same team that suffered that horrific, embarrassing loss at home to the Spurs without Kawhi and Parker. A few notes:
    • The Warriors have zero inside presence to worry about offensively, while LaMarcus Aldridge torched us that game (34 pts,12 rebs in 36 minutes)
    • Harden is a much better player and is in a better place than he was 2 years ago. He didn't have the floater or stepback 3 back then
    • We did not have Chris Paul or P.J. Tucker. While CP3 has struggled with his shot, his value as a facilitator when Harden's on the bench is still quite valuable. Tucker is self-explanatory
    • Capela's been awful this series but overall he's still an improved player and with the Warriors no longer being able to use their death lineup, don't be surprised if he bounces back for Game 6
    • Gordon is playing as well as he's ever played
    • Lou Williams who was horrible that series is off the team
    • Ryan Anderson went 0-6, missed all this 3s, and had the worst +/- on the team that game is also gone
    • We have a better bench this year and expect MDA to use it more in Game 6. Golden State is going to get worn out without Durant and we have to exploit that with our bench energy

The only problem with your bullet points is that several of them seem to be relying on things that haven't happened yet this series to all the sudden start happening (Paul playing better, Capella playing better, MDA using the bench better, etc.)

Also, GS is a much better team than SA was 2 years ago. Even without Durant. Them winning Game 6 wouldn't exactly be a gigantic upset.

I agree with you. Compared with that year:

    1. Harden is mature.

    2.I think CP3 and Clint will improve a lot in the next game.(CP3 25 + 5, Clint 15 + 15).

    3. We have more rotating players to play.

I don't know how much better this Warriors team is than that Spurs bunch. Sure, they have 3 great players(Curry, Thompson, Green), but beyond that, they have very little. The 2017 Spurs actually had a lot of depth. After Aldridge, they had Mills, Danny Green, Gasol(before he was completely washed up), Simmons, Manu, Dedmon, Murray, and Bertans.

And there's no question this is a far better Rockets team. Harden is better. CP3, Gordon, and Rivers are a better complimentary guard rotation than Bev, Gordon, and Lou. Nene isn't hurt like he was in that game. Tucker is 100 times better than Anderson. Faried and Harrell(at that stage of his career) is a wash. And instead of Ariza and Dekker, we have House, Green, and Shumpert which is worse defensively, but better offensively.

Surely you would agree though that Houston had a lot more to do with that Game 6 loss than the opponent.
