Tough lose to Minnie - especially since this was one of the softer teams on the schedule. 1-1, and now the real brutality starts.

Chicago on the road, second night of a b2b, and these guys are 14-3 at home. Conventional wisdom has us losing by a decent spread.

Conventional wisdom does not work a lot of time. I guess tonight's game is a proof.

Yup - being 2 and 1 at this point is a good sign. The Rockets are holding up well thus far. Playing above expectations without Synder, Bonzi, and Yao.

    Unbelievable.

So it's time for sleep. We made it through with a 6-4 record, something i thought very unlikely.

Gotta tip our hats to this team. They don't look like a contender yet, but they are getting closer, and clearly have gelled not withstanding the loss to denver in overtime on saturday.

No really awfule games. A loss to Phoenix without t-mac, a lose to Dallas on the road, and two overtime loses.

All that considered, the signs are very positive. We're close. I still don't like the weakness at the 4. I'm not sold on Rafer being the answer at the one. And I wonder if Yao is too slow against Phoenix and if we can ever sovled them - perhaps.

But it's going to be interesting if we're healthy. We're close - maybe we'll know more in March.

We went 6-4 ... better than most people thought we would. Tough loss to Denver in OT.

And as the ESPN guys pointed out, it gets MUCH easier from here on out. We've really had our share of tough games in the first half of the season. This team could actually win 55 games this season despite Yao missing half of it.

When Tmac's first 3 shots sinks expect a very productive game just like tonite. fear no one. Not to mention when Yao comes back, this team is deep!!

Yeah, they did very well in this stretch. Denver was the only bad loss. They did lose in OT to the T'Wolves, but that was during a stretch when Minnesota was playing pretty well.

They could(and should) go 10-4 in January which would be outstanding.
