A "brah" is like a "bro." Used more so by people up North.

And what exactly was your expectation for a board in Texas when you have the largest University in the nation here? That all of the UT fans would simply ignore their interest in their alma mater because their winning ways has annoyed you?

The immediate solution is for you to just not read UT threads. It's a pretty simple concept, is it not?

I wouldn't be surprised if the two teams in the NC game next year both had a loss. It's too early, but I don't see any team standing out.

Ohio State will be good, but not run-the-table good. Same goes for Auburn. Notre Dame will be good but their schedule is brutal. USC will lose 2 or 3 games.

I thin OU will be a top 10 team again. They looked good against a 1 loss Oregon team in the Holiday Bowl.

As far as Texas goes, I think they could be back in the NC game. Sure they lose VY but they still have a stable of RB's in Charles, Taylor, and Young. A lot will depend on if Blaylock comes back. Has he made a decision yet?

Also, it will be interesting to see how Mack handles the QB situation. Will he make McCoy the fulltime starter or will he throw Snead in there too? It could be like Simm's first year when everyone wanted to see what he could do.

I think the Texas defense will be almost as good as this years. At least their front 7. They lose Rod Wright but Derek Lokey should be able to step right in. Besides a lot of people think Okam was actually better than Wright anyway. They lose Aaron Harris but I think Eric Foreman will step in and play well.

BTW, I thought 'brah' was a California thing. For people who are too laid back to pronounce 'bro'. Listen to the dialog in The Sweater Song by Weezer.

My rebuttal to that article is "41-38." Don't need to say much else....

A UT forum? But then bigtexxx would have to change his homepage again.....

But THE Rice Owls signed Major up. Sucks for Rice alums who hate UT. Or the two of them in Houston.

OSU's offense for my money will be the best in the nation. Along with Pittman they will have the #1 tailback freshman recruit, a bigger alternative to him. Most of their OL through TE return as well. Luckily, OSU's defense should be decimated from the draft, but it is always possibly they have capable replacements. Right now OSU (top 5) looks like UT's toughest opponent, OU included (though OU could easily be top 10).

Mostly agree with all the above. The number of teams who have run the table in recent years have been more than normal. There is no way an SEC team runs the table, pretty hard for ACC and Big 10 team as well. I'd say better than 50/50 one or more teams in the finals don't have a perfect record. Could be like 03 when LSU won the national title with 1 loss and there were only three major 1 loss teams going into the BCS Bowls.

Most likely undefeated team going into the BCS championship? West Virginia. They were a very young team last year in the skill positions and pretty good overall, and they have an easy conference.

I think Texas will be better next year. DL should be equal if not better because of depth and LBs core should be much better despite losing the solid Harris. That should more than compensate for a small slip in the secondary (still have 3 of the 5 best DBs returning). Texas has by far more returning defensive players of any of the elite defenses last year. QB play will determine if Texas has a chance to repeat--it is completely unknown.

It is the University of Texas. Is it that unlikely a hang out board dealing with a pro team from in a Texas city would have a lot to say following two national championships in two of the three biggest college sports? Just avoid discussions about college sports (top 10 in the other major college sport as well) if you don't want to hear about UT.

I appreciate you trying to get the thread back on topic, but this board is a lot more like an episode of Seinfeld. No one cares what others have to say for more than a couple posts, then it moves on to movies, name calling and eventually Sura faints. The only thread I can remember staying on topic page after page was the "jorts" thread. Any body remember that one? I know RM95 does.
