Basically agree with your take through all of that, but I'd just have ended it: "... on two up and coming young(ish) vets to balance the roster and start more of an actual growth process."

Morey would be crazy to bring back Doc, but he does have 2/20 left on his deal so u never know with ownership

    Sixers scored under 90 points in 3 of the 7 games…under 90 3x in the year 2023

Sixers offense looked about as creative as a Paranormal Activity script

Doc is a god awful coach. Absolutely disgusting awful with no plan B. It’s throw it into Embiid and make others spectators

If he comes back I HOPE they put the right pieces around him AND don’t overpay for him. He can’t come back and tie up our cap for the next 4 years and we not contending.I still like James but it’s been too many no shows in big moments when his team needs him to show up. He can’t come back and be the #1 option on our young team.

Yes, we need a PG for these young guys and have plenty of money to spare. The fit is perfect. Anyone ******** on the franchise’s 2nd best player ever is just a hater. Bring him home

Can't handle the drama no more. Time we seriously moved on and avoided flashes of regular season glory

And the new Rockets PG is ...

Gonna have to draft a lob threat.

My choice at 21 is Bona.

Will be a better Capela for JH.

Man is still riding riding the glory of winning it with the celtics all those years ago. Man has to own the record for choking in the playoffs.

He's not the worst coach but he sure ain't who I would trust to win anything.

The injury to Embiid was a big deal. Getting Elite James in two games was a bonus since he is on the downside of his career.
I think the Sixers are in a hell of a pickle. They may well be better off signing and trading James to Houston just to get some assets (KPJ, Tate?) and seeing what they can get for Tobias Harris.

James is 33. He still has one bag and a few more runs at a chip left.

I've been on both sides of the coin but ultimately I think I need to pass on a Harden return. He's got business to take care of and we just aren't in the position for it. Him coming here means he's given up and that's just not the vibe we need.

Would be lit if he goes and joins Lakers. Or GSW???

S&T would entirely be up to the Harden and the Rockets given that we can outright sign him with no loss of players. Harris is the big pickle for Sixers and why I have been so down on their future if they didn't win this year. Harris has a HUGE contract and lacks the superstar credentials that makes other teams want to take a gamble.

If he wants a ring sign a one year mid level exception go to Phoenix or the Lakers . I think he might just be content to take on a mentor role with the kids.
