Just trying to state the obvious.. What are you guys really wanting? To get past the 1st or 2nd round? Or how about making it to the finals.. I think the consensus is we want to win it all right? So why get worked up over the present because we can't change it.. If the team loses to a sorry team, if any of the guys get hurt or Tracy McLazy does what he always does I never get upset by it.. Because it is what it is.. Now when 2010 comes around that is when I know we have a shot at improving the team.
It's not time to panic yet. However if we come out of Feb. playing .500 ball against an easy schedule with alot of home games and the Big 3 back. It's going to be time to panic.
I still think you will have a letdown or 2, but I would like to see some type of win streak worth talking about
These are the games Tracy, Ron and Yao played. Mem W Mav W Okc W Bos L POR L Lac W LAL L PHO W SAN L NO W OKC W Was W ORL W Mim W Den W Sac W Min W NJ W Clv L Was L Mil W Tor L Phi L For those 23 games, the record is 15-8. Out of those 8 games that we lost, 5 games were very close. Bos lost by 4 pts. Por lost by 2 pts. LAL lost (blow out) San lost by 2 pts. Clv lost by 9 pts. Was lost by 2 pts. Tor lost (blow out) Phl lost by 2 pts. This is not bad considering how they have been in and out.
we keep saying 'no panic' in all those seasons, look at the result, we did not even get out of the first round of playoff. I agree with Yao, when will we learn how to win, I mean, your opponents are Knics and 76ers.
This team has about only 3 weeks to come together and look like contenders, or else somebody is gone by the trade deadline, most likely Artest. I doubt Morey is the type of GM that will risk losing an asset like Artest and his expiring contract for absolutely nothing.
