Only concern with green and I know I’m knit picking but it’s his height and or length. I want to know his official height...if he’s on the smaller side of 6’4 or just 6’5 pass.
I forgot to add. Green has charisma man...like if he was a star everyone would love the kid...Mobley is a bit too timmid
I think I want Suggs. I really like KPJ and think he can be a great JH13 type of ball dominant pg. JH13 also needed a secondary type of ball handler. KPJ and Suggs together does a lot for us.
I'm going with Green for now, but that could easily change as I learn more. I think Suggs has a higher floor but a lower ceiling. With the #2 pick I'm fine gambling a little bit. And not gonna lie...KPJ and Green on the floor together sounds like it could be pretty fun to watch. Would rather take some fliers on big men with the later first round picks than Mobley in the top 2. Just don't have a good feeling about him being anywhere close to Embiid/Davis/Jokic level.
As incompetent as Detroit is, it would not shock me in the least that they just might not pick Cade. That being said...if he actually is gone, at #2, I think that Green is both the Best Player Available, AND the best fit for the Rockets. He can go out there and get BUCKETS. He has an aggressive mindset on offense. It also allows us to keep Wood;
I hope the Rockets keep their other two picks if they can get something like this. Though, I would personally prefer to take Green at #2. 2. Jalen Green, G, G League Ignite 23. Isaiah Jackson, C, Kentucky 24. Tre Mann, G, Florida
add high flying Kenyon Martin Jr to that mix. 3 flying Wallendas in the Silas system running back door cuts and slashes to the rim. They will need to work on defense......but WOW on offense!!
My knee jerk reaction is to take Green if we intend on keeping Wood. If we can trade Wood and get another high pick, I'd go for Mobley. I like Wood, but I don't think he will be an all star. I'd rather go all-in on young talent who we have contract rights for for many years.
Not for me and he looks shorter and being 6’5 with that thin frame doesn't bode well when he will be guarded by bigger stronger players.
And what else can he bring to the game when his shot isn’t falling?? What other ways can he effect the game??
It may not be given their fit, their age and direciton. They traded away a guy similar to woods in Niko who was performing at an all star level and they did that adn got younger. Not sure it makes sense for them to trade away a lottery pick, its good for us, ot sure if they'd do it. They have fultz/Cole anthony at the g, Issac, then the two bigs. I think kuminga or a wing makes sense for htem
