No matter you like him or not, JVG, you should give Yao more minutes.

so what you are saying is that if you play Yao around 30 minutes in the first of a back to back, he is rested and can play well in the 2nd game. If you play him 45+ minutes, or 50 vs Toronto, he shoots 5-15 in the second of the back to back.

Yes, that is what we have all been saying. :)

yao was on the bench for a reason. He had done enough and the crew we had on the floor was already doing great.

I defence of JVG, I think he is resting Yao to protect his elbow. The fall seems really hard

No you tool, I was pointing out that Yao plays close to his season AVG of minutes during the 1st game of a back to back and still plays well in the 2nd game of a back to back. So it was debunking the notion that Yao is RESTED in the first game, but some sheep just don't understand.

If you question JVG's substitution pattern, last night's game was not a good example. Rox has a game tonight. Yao needs the rest. To beef up Yao's stats is not the goal of the team/JVG's. To win is.

A lot of you like to say the game was well in hand and that's the reason JVG didn't put in Yao. However with close to 8mins left in the game, the score was 75-73 rox and a timeout was called. Good time to put in Yao yet he didn't. Then it was lucky the rox went on a 6-0 run and were never threatened by the wiz again. However, they could have easily lost.

If the goal of the team is to win and not about stats, then why was Francis STILL in the game when everyone says the the game was EASILY in hand in the 4th. Answer, Francis was going after a triple double. Hmmm, I may sound crazy, but those sound like stats to me, even though it had no bearing on the win.:p

Everybody complains about Yaos minutes. The problem is he get worn out eazier than most centers. He really don't have the option of an off season so it kinda hard for him to showcase his talents.
