Yep, the AL's up & the NL's down right now. Everything is cyclical.

They have split the last 6 WS though.

I agree. The Yankees/Red Sox will always be the big spenders... but there's no reason why the Dodgers/Braves/Cardinals/Astros/Mets can't build teams to compete with the quality AL clubs.

Also, the East has won 2 out of the last 3 NBA finals.

Didn't an AL team get no-hit earlier this year?

    Yep, the good ol' Rangers.

There have been 4 no-hitters in interleague matchups (3 reg season, 1 in the WS). The only NL team to no-hit an AL team is the Astros.

Pretty damn great. Roy Oswalt, Pete Munro, Kirk Saarloos, Brad Lidge, Octavio Dotel, Billy Wagner.

TK Bitterman's, a bar on W.Alabama, has a framed group of baseball cards of every Astros pitcher who has pitched in a no-hitter with the team. Every time I'm there with an Astros fan, I ask them what all those players have in common. Nobody has gotten it yet. Munro & Saarloos really throw them off.

I know a yankees fan/astros hater who threw his dreamcast out of his apartment window after that game.
