You clearly have not learned your lesson (or the rest of the Laker haters for that matter).

In 2000, LA wasn't going to win, because Shaq would never win a ring. In 2001, they weren't going to win because Shaq and Kobe couldn't co-exist. In 2002, they weren't going to win because of Shaq's toe.

Of course titles are won in June, which is really funny that you use that AGAINST LA?

You find EVERY possible way to sound asinine when it comes to the Lakers.

    ahhhh!!!

I went to bed b/c I was bored of the game. I wake up, turn on "Sportcenter" and the first thing I hear is "greatest comeback in the NBA!"

why, oh why did I give up on this game???????

    aargh!

Nellie screwed this one up bigtime. Griffin was shutting Kobe down and he didn't even play in the fourth quarter. Instead, Nellie played Finley who couldn't defend or shoot last night. Dumb move. Also, why was Bradley in the game? Popeye was the only guy putting a body on Shaq.

With that being said, Kobe is absolutely an amazing player at times. He couldn't be stopped. Somebody should have knocked his head off when he drove in the lane late in the game.

You're as predictable as an atomic clock Cat. I can't believe you are so incredible bitter towards a team that you have to whine about the refs everytime they do something significant. Pretty sad.

Two games out of over 20 in the playoffs last year is every time? One game out of over 20 this season is every time?

Oh. My. God. So you agree the Lakers won the championship last night? If you do, I quit... there's no use using logic with anyone who thinks that.

I didn't say the Lakers wouldn't win in June. I meant that come June, win or lose, this game tonight will not be the reason for the success or failure.

You Laker fans sound like the Yankee fans after they beat Anaheim in game 1 of the ALDS. "We've won the last three in a row, we came back and ripped their hearts out, there's no way we can lose... blah blah blah".

I edited the title of this thread from "No F***ing way" to the current one because people are still making new threads about that game. I'm guessing it's because of the lame title that f4p decided to use for the thread. :D

Let's all thank the mavs for waking up a sleeping giant. This game just put them in the playoffs as a high seed.

well i considered "No F***ing way, the F***ing Lakers just F***ing beat the F***ing mavs after F***ing trailing by F***ing 30 points" but i decided to shorten it a little. guess i oversimplified it.

Anyone know why the Mavs stopped playing a zone in the 4th? I know they played a zone all first half and were up by 28. After 3 quarters, they're up 27 (don't remember if they played zone in the 3rd). Then in the 4th, they don't play zone, allowing LA to speed the game up and come back. Huh?

TheFreak: Kobe started creating/penetrating..their zone was giving up easy points. Then again, their man-to-man wasn't much help either.
