    well LBJ had a lot to do with him being loved, and AI had a lot to do with him being hated. Sure AI had a rough childhood, but once he was thrust into the national spotlight all of the mistakes he made was his fault. You can't call him a victim of society and wonder why people hate him when he goes to games covered in tats and braided hair. You can't wonder why people think he's a thug when he brings a large-ass posse and carries guns everywhere. No one's forcing him to be a goody-goody and conform with the norms like LBJ, but don't act like a rebel then wonder why people don't accept you like they do with other players.

    More importantly don't rack up meaningless and stats and cause your team to lose games then expect to be lumped in with the greats. It doesn't even have anything to do with race, quite frankly Allen Iverson the player won't win you many games.
