I had a feeling the defense would show up tonight and be able to contain the Suns and they did just that. I'll settle for a sizzling 51.1% instead of 44-45%. :)

Yeah I was wrong. It won't be the first time nor the last time. I still support them and watch them and die by them regardless. I know i'm not the only that felt like i was going to be a loss.

I will say this... defensively Battier may be more important to this team than Yao...

Tonight was proof that the team trusts in one another, and that they are ready to make a good playoff run.

Oh, and I love the post 110th... Love it!

Shane lowers shooting % by getting a hand between the shooter's eyes and the basket. He rarely blocks a shot. Yao lowers the % by being able to block a shot, thus forcing the shooter to change his shot. Shane guards the perimeter while Yao guards the paint. I guess I'm saying that they are equally important and we need them BOTH!!!!

Haha, every time when we miss a player and win the game, someone will say, "We are better without that guy."

You didn't exactly die by them. You pretty much gave up on them when you called for an automatic L.

    Ummm...

Shane averages 1.1 blocks per game and 1.2 steals per game...

Yao averages 1.8 blocks per game and .4 steals per game...

    1.1 + 1.2 = 2.3
    1.8 + 0.4 = 2.2

Furthermore, Shane is assigned to each teams biggest swingman scoring threat... His motor never stops...

So they pretty much even out, but make it seem that Yao gets many more blocks than Shane is... a stretch.

crap, battier is "questionable" in the denver game. if melo goes off because of this, we'd be in trouble.

well you can stop melo, i'm sure that we can do that even without Shane. But you are right, it would be better if he played
