A lot of people like knocking Mario for not being that "pro bowl" player...but the pro bowl is a popularity contest. If it was a measure of actual success on the field, Williams would easily be among the best in the AFC.

I'm not saying Mario sucks.

I'm saying, in Wade's 3-4, I have a hard time seeing WOLB Williams being more essential at $14M than a guy like Asomugha at $16M.

If he tears it up this year, than great - I'm wrong, let's keep him. But I'm looking at this from a pure cost/benefit perspective. And Mario wasn't $13M productive last year, or the year before that. And yes, health does matter.
