That would be an amazing trade. I'd rather replace Jacoby with Slaton though.

The Colts, Redskins, and Cowboys don't run the ball so the rushing numbers were skewed early on. The Giants and Chiefs are 3rd and 4th in the league in rushing but your right it's Cushing's fault.

As much as I criticize him, I have not even come close to giving up on Jackson either. He's a rookie CB playing against one of the toughest schedules in the NFL. He's been dreadful though, and we're supposed to be a playoff team. He needs to be learning from the nickel and spot situations if we're supposed to be contenders.

See that is my point, Jets traded for Cromartie as a veteran presence so if they did draft a corner they could bring him along slow and let Cromartie start opposite Revis.

I understand the lack of corners avilable but they HAD to know this was going to be rough with such a young secondary, they should have been more prepared before they drafted KJ, since they knew that was the direction they where headed. I think KJ will be fine down the road, just not today, so I am not knocking the pick but rather the circumstances around the choice. Raiders new it would take Aso time to develop so they had another corner ready to go, which is the route the Texans should have taken with KJ.

Uncapped year, franchising DRob wouldn't have been the worst idea but also don't kill them for that by any means However the moment they let him go, plan B should have already been in place either via trade or FAgency. At this point Reeves would be an upgrade over what we CURRENTLY have.

As dumb as his post was, it can't compete with T-Slacks. He not only broke out a stat comparison between Aso and Kareem, he said Aso was on the downside of his career because he was not getting tackles and interceptions. I highly doubt that type of stupidity can be matched but I'm sure brian_chapman will try

i don't know what it means...but i think we should petition Clutch to have the phrase, "trick azz busta" replace "Contributing Member" in your profile.

I agree with you. They should have probably gone after another CB. I also understand the Texans perspective. Glover Quin had a good rookie season. Kareem Jackson is a rookie but played under Nick Saben who coached cornerbacks in the NFL for years so he was close to being a pro-ready as a rookie cornerback could probably be. I have always liked Cromartie's talent. However when he was traded from San Diego he was ripped by his teammates which tells me a lot since you rarely hear players ripping other players by name. Hopefully the young CBs get better because as bad as they played the team is somehow 4-2. I am a fan of Sherrick McManis so hopefully he gets healed up during the bye and replaces McCain as the nickle back.

I don't what realistic trades are out there for defensive backs but it wouldn't suprise me them make a trade for CB or LB. Chris Johnson and Thomas Howard are probably on the market. The one who got away from the Texans is Tramon Williams. They signed him as a undrafted free agent in 2006 in Kubiak's first season but he was cut in the preseason. He has been a stud and a Pro-Bowl type player in Green Bay.

Well, how much would Tramon Williams cost to bring back? Finley is done for the year, so would Daniels do it for them or would a pick to go along with OD be enough and would it be worth it?
