Texans better use this bye week to find another kick-returner because Slaton is terrible. Why doesn't Jacoby also return kick-offs? It's not like he is a full-time starter at WR.

 

Its not like no full-time players can't return kicks either

I just dont get this. Jacoby has been one of the best return men in the game for a couple years now, IDK why he was taken off the duties

Texans have released Salaam and Nixon. Obviously, Salaam's release is for Duane Brown, but to release Nixon (a LB)... most likely means they either signed or traded for a LB.

 

Is the NFL trade deadline like the NBA trade deadline, where occasionally trades are submitted to the league office for approval right before the deadline, so we (the public) don't hear about it until a few hours later?

 

It's possible but there weren't any trades that were expected to happend so I doubt it.

 

They were going to workout some LBs today. Kawika Mitchell is out there but I don't think he is healthy right now.

 

That really sucks for Nixon. He stepped up and played well in Demeco's place last week. He seemed very excited on the radio to get the opportunity to play

 

He had some tackles but Kubiak on his radio pretty much implied on the radio that he really struggled out there. That Vrable TD was on blown assignment for him.
