Then whey did he pull Clemens after a good inning like that?

Maybe it was Roger's call... seeing at how Phil has handled these guys, I doubt he would have decided on his own.

Perhaps Roger thought he was just about done, and that last inning luckily went smoothly.

    It just hurts now...

Now we have to rise up and do some more work. I do not want to go back to Atlanta.

It's time to see what this team is made of. Tie game at home, with 3 innings to play. It's gut check time.

Smoltz will be pitching the last 2-3 innings.

    Book it.

I fully expect Smoltz to be in starting right now.

The thing about pulling Roger is that even a semi-tired Roger is more trustworthy than our middle inning relief. Roger makes the pitches when he has to. We just can't seem to put the Braves away. It's like playing with fire.

Yep ... and it's a good bet they won't touch him. I don't think they ever have really.

I think we should return the favor... :)

If these Astros start "giving up" they deserve to loose.

Sure our middle relief is like playing with fire. We should be down 5-1 except for the roof working a miracle for us so I will take 5-5 right now:)

Once again... I bet this was totally Roger's decision, not Phil's.

Maybe today is the day we can touch him and touch him for runs.... or at least do it against Alfonseca

No they haven't, but there's still hope. Biggio and Bagwell never hit in a playoff series either. Its time to exercise the last of our demons.
