I've been a die hard fan since my grandpa took to me to the astrodome for my first game when I was 4 in 1988. I did all my past astro research after that. my grandpa would tell my stories of the toy cannon and nolan ryan, and other past astro royalty.
About the same time that i attended my first Astros game in the dome.....First Rockets game and all that good stuff.....always been a big Houston Fan regardless if they won or lost.
All I gotta say... thank goodness Bobby Cox refuses to move Andruw up in their order. He could have caused all sorts of damage if he was hitting in Chipper's spot all these games.
You know your a die hard fan when you spend 3 months watching the Astros wallow in mediocrity. No matter how frustrating it got, you always tuned it.
Yup that's very true....i have proof of an email when the Astros were down and out and i said to my friend don't worry cuase they will come back and win. I was in Europe at the time and it was the best feeling to see them here and to know i have proof that i am a die hard Houston fan and don't give up.
