I hope they gun him down at home.
Then hit a homer off him in the 10th.

This game is not Lidge's fault/problem, etc. Our offense needs to put up more than 2 runs.

Since we're posting our wishes, I'd like to put up 10 runs this inning, then throw a few beanings in the bottom half.

Until that AB against Drew! Now that was the Lidge of the last few weeks!

    C'mon ... let's get some runs...

To his credit though, I highly doubt taking off the bunt was his call....I'd pin that one on Garner.

OK, I say we pinch hit with Lamb for Lidge in the 2 hole. Then go with Qualls in the 10th.

Agreed... and its because he failed in a position where he wasn't even supposed to be the hero, we just needed a bunt.

He just let all this post-season failures talk get to him, and he tried to swing for the fences.

They say the past doesn't matter, but Its a pretty good bet that either Phil, Bidg, or both, were trying to exercise his demons there... with Bagwell having done so already earlier this game.

Also, I'd like Bobby Cox to try calling the Braves pen to take out Smoltz (as he's getting shelled) and being connected to Domino's pizza.

By no means is it Lidges fault ... I think as a manager you have to see that Lidge is not pitching like he usually pitches and make a change. I can't believe they threw him out there that last inning, but it worked so kudos.

    Lets salvage this game boys!!

I'd give the nod to Lane, because of that homer last game

I'm not sure if that's a post of frustration, or a dig at the posters here, but I spewed my soda when I read it. LOL.

    Pretty non-sequitur.

They probably took off the bunt... but it was Bidg's decision to swing away at a pitch that was out and away... not a good pitch to swing at or ever try to pull.
