Time for some offense. Bagwell can make even more of a statement here. Hit a homer.

We are lucky that this game is still tied...now let's make them pay.

    Finally.

    K by Lidge..

    2-2 heading to 9th.

Time to get to Smoltz. Revenge against Atlanta wouldn't be complete without getting to him.

Not that I absolutely love the commentary thus far (I wish they'd shut the hell up bout the Biggio double play/no bunting crap), but they do have a pt....if thats all he's throwing then they're gonna be looking for it and pound on it. He needs a second pitch - his fastball - to be really effective.

But thank God the 'Stros got out of that inning...

It's a shame we couldn't force Cox to make a choice of Smoltz batting or not last inning. I want Smoltz out of the game -- I can't imagine any of our guys hitting him. I hope I'm wrong though.

Well, I guess it wasn't meant to be as easy as it seemed yesterday.

Who would they go to after Smoltz? Would they pitch him in the 10th?

I don't like the Miceli vs Smoltz matchup...

These pitches are not close... why is Dave O'Brien trying to make a big deal about it?
