    BTW... I'd put in Ausmus just for Lidge's filthy slider... even though Chamo didn't let that one cost us.

    Let him go next inning and see how quickly he gets them out. If we get insurance runs then you can go ahead and save him. BUt if we don't we have to say he's our best bet at pitcher.

    Till the end of the game... unless he walks the bases loaded.

    He's rested, his slider is unhittable, and he won't have to face the dangerous top of the order if he does his job.

    There's no sense in "saving" him... we have an off day tommorow.

    Yes, agreed. We have an off day coming up. They won't be able to cycle through the lineup, so nobody should see him twice.

    Exactly...He's had 3 days off and another day off tomorrow. That arm has 40 pitches in it today.
