Time to bench Biggio, and put in Lane. Gotta go with the hot hand in the postseason.

It also gives these asinine announcers something else to talk about for an entire game... minus the shadows (which are now gone), Beltran's ribs, Hampton's knee, and Bagwell's shoulder... did I miss anything?

Just like that... first 1-2-3 inning of the day.... and we had LOST the momentum.

tough call on the Biggio ground out the more i think about it...if he gets one by chipper, its 3-0, 1st and 3rd and no outs...i think those are the types of things you do when you win

Or, if you bunt them over... the same base-hit (by a much better hitter in Beltran) gives you 4-0... and a HR gives you 5-0.

It wasn't worth the gamble, even if it had paid off... and the only way it would have paid off is if Bidge got a fat one, and hit it out... highly unlikely.

I'm glad Biggio hit into a double play. I don't want Roy Oswalt on the base paths at all. Ever. Its just too risky with his awkward running style. He looks like he's about to pull his groin out there every time he runs.

I hear ya Nick...but getting a "fat one" wasn't such a long shot seeing as how he just threw 6 straight balls to guys trying to bunt

These announcers are another sign to me of ESPN giving the Astros no respect. Least they'll be getting plenty of attention around the nation being broadcast by FOX in the World Series.

true... but even if Bidge gets a fat one, its not as automatic a HR as perhaps Beltran would have gotten a chance to see.

And, as I said before, the only way a Bidge base-hit beats a Beltran base-hit is if its a HR.

Ah, whatever... lets just get some more runs this inning.

The are being a little repetitive, but I don't think lack of respect is something the Astros could complain about this year. They are, more or less, the favorite this series.
