If Beltran is seriously hurt, if the x-rays come show damage, we better do some serious head hunting before we dust these tomohwak choppers off our backs.

that was the first time i had seen that commercial. hitting the little gong or whatever in the middle of the catchphrase makes the commercial.

the joe buck and leon commercials are also hilarious. "you know i can't cook without that dough baby."

This is a great opportunity to get Brad Lidge in the game. By all accounts, he's very excitable, and letting him pitch the 9th with a big lead is a good chance to get his playoff feet wet.

Do they not teach the proper Italian pronunciation in Deer Park, Texas?

that first pitch to whoever is up now wasn't a strike?! am i out of my mind or are we getting squeezed way worse than the braves (who have gotten squeezed some also). this is ridiculous. thank goodness he won't be the homeplate ump tomorrow.

Maybe... but if it was a game 7, I'd rather not have anybody but Tim McClelland behind the dish.

He is by far, the best umpire in all of baseball... its why he's umpired the 1st and 7th games of every World Series for the past few years.

i'd rather not pitch lidge just to not give the braves a taste of his slider before we have to.

not that they'd start crushing it after seeing it, but just to be safe. plus i'd like lidge perfectly fresh for a possible two innings tomorrow if need be.

    You're an *******....

First off, I AM Italian, and I know how it's pronounced. But Biggio HIMSELF has said he wants it pronounced Bidge-i-o.
