man, clemens sure isn't getting the call on the edge of the plate. about 4 pitches that were borderline on the last 2 batters.

    If it's really for games 1 and 2, I say 60 pages.

The last pitch seemed pretty good to me.

you have got to be kidding on some of these non-strike calls. wright was not getting squeezed like this earlier in the game.

Bases juiced, 2 outs and Charles Thomas coming up. No excuses, get him out.

Hopefully, Clemens is just pitching around guys who can actually hit a HR in this ballpark.

And hopefully, Charles Thomas is not one of them.

Clemens may not have his A-stuff, but he still hasn't given up an earned run.

Last time Clemen's was squeezed look what happened when Rolen came up to bat. I'm hoping he keeps in it mentally this time.

We have gone through 12 pages and its only the 3rd inning. Way too early to tell; 60 for 2 games sounds about right.

    Clemens gets out of it!!

I bet you that he learned from that experience... definitely looks to be keeping his composure, just fighting the mechanics right now.

I'm actually suprised that Tim McClellan has called a bad game... he's right up there as one of the BEST umpires all-around, and I've actually seen some of the best Astros pitching performances in games that he's called.
