Hells yea....I don't think eating a Jose Ole Hot and spicy beans and beef burrito is going to be a wise decision....which I am about to make.
Dude, totally. I havent hardly eaten all damn day. I just feel sick. My voice is all messed up from yelling all week and I dont know if I can physically make it through the whole damn game. If we lose, it is not going to be cool. I wanted to throw **** on Sunday. Sorry we missed you on Sunday, we were at your place for the Texans and Stros.
LOL ... I was in the process of putting together a post saying the exact same thing Im just glad to know i'm not alone I told my fiance sorry in advance because if the Astros lose I am not going to be a happy camper ... her response ... "I know ... I wont even try talking to you" ... nothing worse than someone telling you something like "Theres always next year" when you are pissed off.
yah, my roomates were telling me they will have another chance on Saturday after game 2 loss. I was so pissed I had to wait 2 days for revenge....and then the loss yesterday! I sure am glad they were out of town.
A word of warning (mostly to myself)...I won't be anywhere near this thread tonight. If I see one freakin negative comment because Oswalt threw a ball 4 to someone in the top of the first inning, or if Biggio swings at a slider in the bottom of the first and I read "That's it. We're done, it's over", I'll go ballistic on their negative hatin ass.
I have stayed out of the BBS during most of the last 2 games. I usually crept in near the end of the game, or after I have had some time to calm down after a game.
I keep trying to tell myself that it's a miracle that they're here in the first place, but if we don't pull out a win tonight it's really going to hurt. To put it mildly.
I was thinking today, the last time a Houston sports team won a deciding game was Game 7, Rockets vs. Seattle in 1997. The last time we ever had another deciding game was Game 5 vs. the Jazz the very next year. There hasn't been that much excitement and nervousness in the city in quite a few years.
Just saw part of a press conference with Bidge and Bags on Sportscenter and they really looked like they were hurtin bad over Cammy ... Bidge's eyes told the whole story Bags said the best way they could honor Cammy at this moment was to go out there and play their butts off. Win or lose ... The Stros will honor Cammy tonight with effort
