Yeah, these Biggio interviews are brutal. when he looked into the camera and spoke directly to Caminiti's family ...

For him to do what he did in this game under these circumstances, nobody should EVER question his heart or call him a choker again.

(Biggio's always been my favorite Astro.)

Great game, the Astros left no doubt about the outcome with all the home runs. But Fox just pissed me off with the "Astros have limped into the NLCS," comment. That was 100% BS. If it was the Red Sox or Yankees, it would have been: "Yankees have shown true character and heart by winning this series."

    FU FOX!!!!!!

But we are in the NLCS, that is all that matters. Backe, take care of business Wednesday!!!!!!

    FINALLY!!!

Finally, the Astros go to the next round in their 43 years!

Finally, Biggio and Bagwell perform spectacularly in the playoffs!

Finally, Biggio and Bagwell get to experience winning in the playoffs!

Finally, the Astros are going to get some national recognition!

Finally, the Astros stop tormenting us fans and giving us something to really celebrate!

    Finally, Astros. WONDERFUL JOB!!!

Just another reason(there are a billion) I am glad the Astros won:

Not having to hear anything else about Furcal going to jail. I wanted to throw up everytime I heard "You gotta feel for this guy. He'll be going to jail when this series is over" . No, I don't have to feel for the guy, he got caught with his 2nd DUI and got sentenced to jail. If the judge wasn't a Braves fan or if he had been any normal guy he'd have already been in jail. In the immortal words of Mr. Box, "You're going to jail"

"The [Astros] win it! The [Astros] win it! Oh my god, the [Astros] win it!"

This series was an absolutely wild ride for my heart. I'm not sure I can survive a 7 gamer with the Cardinals - win or lose. Let's go Astros! :D

If you guys want to get started on the "friendly" smack-talking, you can visit a good Cards BBS at http://forums.stltoday.com/viewforum.php?f=11

Its hillarious... half the posts start out with "dammit... I really wanted the Braves to win this... the Astros are hot."

They also now have ALL the pressure in the world for a team that had the best record, and home-field... we've got nothin to lose.

    Woo!

Bumping this... we must stake our ground!

You can already feel them shaking.

Hey... at least for the first time ever, a NL Central team will be going to the World Series. We're exercising ALL demons here in 2004.

Hey man, I'll probably be making a call to John and Lance tomorrow. How busy are the phone lines usually?
I have to take my bro and sis to school around 8, and will probably call after that.

Wow, I just got home from watching the game at BW3's. The place was freaking ROCKING! People were chanting throughout the entire game, doing the wave, acting like animals! My sister in-law even took it a little too far and ripped off her shirt. . This is one of the best stories Houston sports fans have ever gotten witness, and man it feels great!!!
