I know it's premature, but I think even Jay Powell could mop this one up!

even considering rust, i'd just as soon not see lidge out there in a 9 run game. i don't want any freak things happening at the end of the game that cause us to lose lidge for some reason.

Game 2 would be Clemens on 3 days...I'd rather have him on 5 days and sacrifice Munro. I'm confident in backe...and I think we can split the series.

Clemens/Oswalt on full rest, games 3 and 4.

Game 1 is Wednesday, not Thursday goophers. At least that's what FOX says. I don't trust them but I'll take it until I learn differently.

They never count the day you pitch as a day of rest... it would still only be three... and that's three days of rest comin off another three days of rest.

It will be a 7 game series people... there is room to work with other pitchers... in fact, you have to.

Somebody pull up Codell's scenario from before... with Munro starting game 1, and Backe starting game 2 on full rest.

Well McNair just threw another touchdown!

This could be a great day for Houston and Ex-Houston Teams

Uhh... there's no such thing as a great day for ex-houston teams.

I wouldn't be happy if I had an ex-wife who just up and left me, and she ended up winning the lottery.

It could be a great day for Houston.... period.

Game 1 - Munro (sacraficial Lamb)
    Game 2 - Backe (4 days rest)
    Game 3 - Clemens (5 days rest)
    Game 4 - Oswalt (5 days rest)
    Game 5 - Backe (3 days rest)
    Game 6 - Clemens (3 days rest)
    Game 7 - Oswalt (3 days rest)

I would actually consider starting Hernandez Game 1.
