Bagwell and Biggio have been through a lot over the past decade; and finally on what is perhaps their last shot at glory they're going to advance. I couldn't be happier for two people.
It's now time to put the TV on mute and listen to Milo. Can't wait to hear him call the last pitch from Lidge tonight.
I am so psyched about Biggio and Bagwell. Now the story is their playoff resurgence, not that they needed Berkman, Beltran et al to carry them to a playoff series win. If we win, of course
Man... till you posted that, I had no clue that a football game was on. And I normally breathe the NFL and MNF. Amazing.
Here comes Miceli, hopefully we can get at least 2 outs from him before he gives up his second home run and have to go to Lidge to close it out. Pugs
The Braves had two nice comeback wins in this series, but it has been clear from the start that the Astros have been the superior team. Forget about the pitching in the Cardinals series, it is time to enjoy the first postseason series victory ever for the Astros. Not only is it great to get that first one, but to send the long-time nemesis Braves home crying is even sweeter. This reminds me of Rice finally breaking through to win its first ever Championship -- when they mauled Stanford 14-2 in the CWS title game. SUCK IT BRAVES FANS
Honestly... have they showed one camera shot of him?? I know he's no longer techinically the owner, but in the 90's you couldn't go 2 minutes without seeing Ted or Jane doin something goofy.
clutch hitting was the key to this game so far... 10 outta the 12 runs scored so far came with 2 outs..
