geez another 25+ pitches in that inning for Oswalt.

I don't know how much longer he can last.

I really hope we get some more runs.....come on bullpen, hold on to this one! PUUUUUUUUUUULEAS!

Leave him in until he gives up 2 -- I'd rather have a tired Roy than ANYBODY* in that bullpen

    *besides Lidge.

Edit: He only had 88 pitches in Game 2.. He shouldn't be *too* tired

Would have been nice to have the inmate up 2nd or 3rd next inning, but we'll deal with it.

We need AT LEAST one more good inning out of Oswalt

All the more reason we need to get more runs right now!!!!

are we sure that Clemens can't go at least one inning or one batter.

I'm sick of the announcers talking about Roy's pitch count. It's not THAT impt...especially since he had a short outing last game...this is a prime time game so its almost like he's pitching on 3 1/2 days rest...he's young...and he's not recovering from a bad virus like Clemens...so I think as long as he's gettin outs he'll still be in there...regardless of pitch count.

    Nice hit by Chavez....

Are they ever going to talk about the Astros game or are they ready to just talk about the Boston New York series all game.

I'm sick of the Yanks/Sox promos but I love watching A-Rod getting popped in the face.

Man, even our Catchers are having a "good" series.

    This is unbelievable....

    We better win this one.

I don't know. Roger hasn't pitched on back-to-back days for a LONG time.

Hopefully the bullspen will come through.

Maybe but he's getting an awful lot of 2 strike counts that turn into hits forcing him to start all over again. After what happened yesterday you can't blame them for focusing on Oswalt's stamina. What's needs are about 3 more runs.

Well he is on 3 days rest...going to be harder than a normal start for him but he is giving a gutsy effort right now.
