    This getting ugly ...

    The big part of the lineup will be up once more this game if the rest of the lineup continues as it has been.

    Kiko Calero is absolutley schooling the Astros hitters this whole series. Frankly, I'm glad LaRussa brought him in this early in the game. I'd hate to face this guy in the late innings.

    They are getting every hit they need to make plays. It's crazy right now. They play small ball and big ball and we are relying on the Homer.

    so oswalt throws a curve in the dirt and the guy gets a hit?



    why are the announcers so incredulous biggio would steal with lance at the plate? i'm not saying he should've tried but no matter when biggio is on someone good will be at the plate and doing it with 2 outs to get into scoring position would seem to be the time to do it, no?

    if you don't steal then then when do you as a leadoff hitter?

    do you leave in roy to face the big 3? i think you have to with him only around 100 pitches right now. can't afford to have mike gallo give up a homer to pujols. go with the 20 win pitcher that brung ya' (and i know i said take oswalt out earlier but i was crazy with anger right then).

    Basically when and where should you ask someone to Bunt. Pettite was talking about how sometimes you should play small ball when you want to put some runs on the boards. And Ausmus asked him would you ask Pujols to put a Bunt down in that situation and he said no.
