    that was not a strike to beltran...oswalt had a pitch like that early in the game that was called a ball

    the game updates are messed up for both espn and yahoo. They both state Bidge struck out..

    Mlb has it right now

    mlb wants the cardinals to win. there is no other explanation for the way this series has been called. we receive nothing on the corner all series long while card pitching has been getting corners and then that was just a travesty. that was not even close and it was to our best hitter. ridiculous and that ump should be ashamed for bending to the pressure. terrible terrible terrible.

    That was at least 6" off the plate. It was so far off, Molina almost had to dive back to his left just to frame it over the batter's box.



    Ok...it wasn't that far off, but there was never any part of the ball that came anywhere near any part of the plate.

    the call to beltran just turned this whole game around. from our best batter up with no outs and a runner on first to out of the inning about 5 pitches later. can anyone remember us getting a call like that this whole series? i didn't get to see clemens pitch so maybe he got one of those. but kiko ****ing calero against beltran gets a call that would make greg maddux blush? come on.
