    Whoo! Great win.

It would be really nice to not have to use Lidge tomorrow. 41 pitches is a little high.

Hopefully Lidge has an inning left in him tomorrow.

    Best Case Scenario:

Oswalt picthes lights out. We score tons of runs and save Lidge for Backe.

1 day rest and he'll be ready for game 6 or 7.

    Wow, what a great game.

Great win. Feels great to have a win in the NLCS for the first time ever.

Lidge was awesome. Too bad he through 40 something pitches. But still, he did his job tonight.

Congrats to the Rocket. He was awesome.

The offense needs to jump all over the Cardinals tomorrow, give Roy a good lead and give Lidge the day off if needed. He threw a hell of a lot of pitches today for a closer.

He does... adrenaline is a scary good thing.

But, I doubt he'd be able to do two... the biggest thing that effected him in the 9th was the long break in b/t innings... he probably cooled off a little after that.

This post game discussion is ludicrous.

Yes if Clemens pitched another inning, Lidge wouldve been saved.

However, we will probably pitch Clemens on 3 days rest so we don't gain anything.

    Idiots.
