DIE DAN MICELI DIE YOU WORTHLESS EXCUSE OF A PITCHER. I HOPE YOU NEVER PITCH AGAIN, I HOPE GARNER GETS A CLUE AND REALIZES HE CANT MANAGE A STAFF. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I agree with you Nick 100%. In the middle of August we werent even supposed to be here. The boys gave it all and just came up short. Really all you can do is tip your hat to the Cardinals. I mean it took the best team in baseball seven games to beat us.

To all the Astro players, thank you for a great playoff ride.

humiliating end to it all. such a feeble effort for 6 innings. did we get a hit in the last 6 innings?

vizcaino, ausmus, ensberg, miceli, don't bother showing up for spring training.

And wasn't that one of the reasons Garner came on...to grind out some runs....but this game especially..seems all our players we're just swinging for the fences..ESPECIALLY BERKMAN.

Well even though we lost this Series, I have to say I am proud of our boys ... They could have easily ditched this season and not given any of us such a thrill (and now heartbreak). It is a season I will always remember. Thanks guys.

You've got some serious problems... especially with the people who are deciding your diet.

I fear I will never see an Astros world series in my lifetime. Can you honestly say they will improve next season or come in with more momentum? Oh well. It is the way it is and maybe in the year 2125 the Astros will finally win one.

    Were you shocked?

I knew it was over when Ausmus had a check swing on a 3-1 pitch with 1st and 3rd 1 out.

Love what this team did even getting this far.

Thanks Astros, for giving us the first playoff series win ever.

Typical for the postseason, though, that we go out on another odd move by Garner ... not hitting Lamb or Lane for Viz with the season on the line.

After this postseason, I'm not even sure that Garner should get the job next year. Sure I'll get flamed for that ...

But again -- thanks Astros for finally giving us a playoff series win!
