    I agree with Nick... great season, especially after losing Pettite and Miller. And Everett, for that matter. Getting to watch Beltran (if only for this season), watching Clemens. The last few weeks of the season, overtaking how many teams? Its been a great season. But the Cards are just a better team. And they played four at home, while we only played three in Houston.

    It is what it is... Go Astros!

    Even though 80 and 86 were tough... this WAS the best Astros playoff performance ever.

    For that, I am kinda dissapointed... but I am very proud that this team represented us well in the playoffs.

    Biggio's 1st inning was pure luck.

    We need Biggio to retire and let Lane play. Kent should go away and give Burke a chance.

    Maybe we'll get lucky and Bagwell retires.

    That should free up the $$ to sign Beltran.

    Our starting rotation will be solid if not great. Our bullpen will have a lot of promise with Qualls, Harville, Wheeler.

    Lide will be amazing.

    Garner should be replaced just for letting Micelli pitch at all.

    Big hitting the key to both our success and failure this season. Too many big swings. Not enough small ball.

    By the way, we got way out-managed this series as well.

    i agree too

    this team shouldn't have even been here

    we basically had no bullpen, other than Lidge and a couple of other guys that were day to day with their stuff

    we had 3 starting pitches and the lack of a 4th quality starter turned out to be our downfall

    our everyday lineup is full of flaws

    yet, we came within 1 game of the World Series

    im proud of this team for not giving up ....im proud of them for showing us what they were made of by coming back
