I told everyone here that Munro sucks. He's out there throwing batting practice to the best lineup in baseball.

Is there anywhere else I can go on the net to view the game updates? Something is wrong with MLB.com gameday, it works for a minute then just freezes.

If we were going to win, it was going to be a slugfest. It still doesn't make sense to waste Clemens and Oswalt both on 3 days rest. Squeezing out 5 innings from each would be worthless.

Well, I think we all can keep in mind that:

    (1) This game won't be a win unless we put up more than 5-8 runs

    (2) The point of starting Munro was to let Clemens go out tomm on full rest.

BS. Clemens would not have allowed 2 runs on 4 hits the last inning. If Curt Schilling can pitch with a serious ankle injury, then the Rocket can go on 3 days rest. Using Roger today would be playing to win. Using Munro is playing "not to lose" ala Mack Brown.

Guys, stop giving up already, we're down by one run and its in the second inning. We all knew we were going to have to score alot of runs to win this game.

Yeah, I did too, but I don't think it's worth proclaiming how bad he's doing every 3rd post in the thread.

Yeah seeing as how he's had such a great track record to back that up.

So you're saying that you KNOW that Roger, a 42 year old on short rest, wouldn't have given Pujols a chance to reach down and out of the strike zone to hit one out? Yes Pete has thrown some bad pitches but that homer was more a result of Albert being a freak, not Pete grooving one to him.
