They're gonna use Lights Out, and he'll be spent for tomorrow, very not good.

Least if this pays off, there won't be a tomorrow!

That's about right for him during the postseason.

God. Garner is going to burn Lidge out.

Garner should apply to be a College Baseball coach and throw his starter for 160 pitcher and closer for 7 games in a row.

I think he's only thrown 19 pitches so far and he'll be the 4th guy up to bat next inning so i think you have to pitch him at least one more inning here.

What makes you think he'll be spent? He's only thrown 19, he threw 44 a few games ago.

Hopefully, if we play a game tomorrow, we would use Clemens for 7 innings and use Oswalt for the 8th and 9th.

Lidge was pretty economical in his 2 innings...only 19 pitches.

Right... remember, he threw 41 pitches in game 3, and still pitched 3 more innings in the days after that.

It doesn't matter how many innings you pitch, its the # of pitches thrown that counts.

Why? as long as he doesn't throw 40+ pitches, he'll be fine for tommorow.

In fact, he could still be fine at 40+pitches... but I wouldn't push it.
