I shed a small tear in my giddyness.

I was crying when the Rockets finally won one, and will happily do the same for the Stros.

I have faith in my Stros... If Munro can give us a similar outing to his last one, we have a chance.

    Astros - 6
    Cards- 3

No doubt. After the steelers and steelers and phillies and celtics and mets and celtics and....gulp, buffalo....the rocks winning was so awesome. if the stros can do this i would be just as happy for sure!

my wife and I were watching the game last night and when kent stepped up i said 'time for redemption!' and he hit that sweet sweet ball out. more to come i hope!

I don't wanna ruin the mood in here but I think the Astros lose game 6 and win game 7 in a blowout (ATL Game 5). I just don't see Munro pitching back to back good games. Roger will bring it home Thursday night.

Munro gives up 5 runs in 5 innings. Our bullpen gives up 2 runs in 4 innings.

Morris gives up 4 runs in 6 innings. The STL bullpen gives up 4 runs in 3 innings.

Final score: Astros 8, Cardinals 7

Wow! What a magical October it has been! Never in my entire life did I ever think that I'd live to see the Astros this close to the World Series. I thought that I'd be long DEAD before I ever lived to see this! No matter what happens tomorrow, this series, this TEAM has restored my faith in Houston professional sports. This entire season is beginning to look like something special - something like...destiny.

why the hell not..... we're on a damned fine roll.....

astros win with no box score predictions

however, pete munro gives up 2-3 earned in 5-6 innings

    astros get to morris early......

    game over.

    *fingers crossed.*

If the Red Sox-Yankees score holds up, this will be a 3pm start tommorow.

Astros in night games in the playoffs: 2-2
Astros in day games in the playoffs: 4-2

    Any little advantage helps...

You don't even want to know how long I've been looking for an audio file of that song - to no avail, sadly.

I really hope the spankees can pull this game out. I really don't want to have to listen to this game from my office tomorrow.

Why can't they just play both games at the same time?

For the same reason why everybody was complaining during game 1 (when both teams played at the same time)... people want to get a chance to watch both games, and not everyone has FX/FSN.

I guess you can't make everyone happy... i'm rooting for a night start as well, but at least a day start isn't detrimental to our team (pitching wise, or performance wise).

Plus, Matty Mo is apparently BAD in day games this year.

Well a day game it is ... Too bad I won't be home to see one of the most important games in Astros history ...

Oh well .. Hopefully Munro and the boys can pull it out while I am working and maybe just maybe I wont hear about the game while I am at work (since I am in Cali) so I can watch the tape when I get home :D

    Go Stros Go!!!
