    So, it's now Astros 0, Cardinals 1, Garner 1, for the series, much like it was Astros 3, Garner 2 to finish out the Atlanta series.

    Garner never made this move against the Brewers... he was bringing in Lidge at the 7th inning just last week against Atlanta, IIRC.

    In fact, he's probably not doing it here because he was BURNED against Atlanta.

    Thus, he's techincally "learning"... from your point of view... but I will say that the decision to bring in Miceli here was a mistake.

    I wouldn't blame Garner if it wasn a different part of the order....but with 3-4-5 coming up, especially Pujols-Rolen-Edmonds.

    At least we have Beltran-Bagwell-Berkman-Kent on the way...

    Garner needs to be shot in fricken head. Why have Lidge get up in the 8th *at all* if you are going to trot out Dan Micelli against murderer's row? Just pathetic. There ain't no way in hell the Astros will win with decisions like this. Lame.
