    He pitched so-so to end the year (while Qualls and Harville were light's out)... but apparently, we should just throw the regular season out cause 162 games means nothing.

    Its weird... managers get lambasted for doing things different in the playoffs (Dierker in 01), and they get yelled at for doing things the same as the regular season (Garner).

    I guess the best is a happy medium... but w/ Garner, who knows what that is...

    Maybe the bright side here is Garner finds someone he can turn to/trust in Wheeler in these situations.
