[NLCS] Astros @ Cardinals Game 2

Around the Horn guys are idiots, too. So, you were partly right the first time.

 

Actually, ATH was fairly supportive of the Astros today.... besides Jay "Cubs go get Beltran!" Mariotti.

The rest of them said that by no means is tonight a "must win" for Houston... citing Roger, Roy, and the major MMP home-field advantage.

EDIT: first shot of sportscenter was the tarp on the field...

 

At least they were corrected in the end.

 

Reverse the score of the first game making it 17 runs a piece for the series and 1 win for each team.

Then we bring it home for the clinching three pitching duels.*

I have to retake a quiz at 7pm. Now this is gonig to make me want to rush through the quiz.

Looks like I won't be home for the game tonight. I just want to voice my support while I can. So lets go Astros! We can definitely do this!!!

 

the chance for rain in st. louis this evening increased from 40 to 60%. we'll see, i guess.

you know... Munro could always "slip" off the mound, pretend to be hurt, and then they'd cancel the game because of the "unsafe condtions...

just a suggestion...

 

Fox just had Tamargo on live, and he said they were expecting the game to be played tonight and that the weather is supposed to clear out by 8 or 9 O'clock.

 

The game is going to be delayed about 45 minutes so the grounds crew can get the field ready.

 

A rain delay is Fox's dream... they can replay last night's Yankees-Red Sox game, and probably get higher ratings than a live Astros game.

I love all the extra talk they are giving Munro and dogging him on all these sports shows and ESPn and stuff. I want him to come out and show everyone that he can shut these guys down and we will walk away with a win. I have a feeling about today and it's a good one.

 

i hope the cardinals will forfeit this game cuz of the rain and we can go back to houston tied 1-1

yeah it should be cause it's pretty chilly here in houston so i think it might be a bit colder up there.
