Apparently, Bags and Biggio left their games back in Atlanta. Damn.

    no clutching hitting
unable to play small ball and manufacture runs
    poor defense
    no middle relief

These things don't help you win League Championships.

Can't bunt, can't run the bases, can't get over to cover a bag to turn a double play.

Why all of the sudden are the little things killing this team? Are they pressing?

I think if they go down 2-0 it will be very hard to win the series...I think we have to win tonight....

The Cards are playing with a ton of confidence and ours is shaky at best.

I don't feel so bad. As soon as Bags came to bat, I knew it was an automatic out.

Welcome back, old Biggio and Bagwell! Postseason futility has missed you.

Wow, I'm about to flip out.

Seriously, how many times have the Astros stranded a runner in scoring position tonight with no or 1 out. They can not keep wasting all these golden opportunities. It takes innings for them to score and the birds do it in a few swings.

Wow... have you ever seen a #2 batter walked intentionally to get to a #3 hitter? Man, why not even make Bags wear a dress and high heels while you are at it...

    Its mid-season all over again.

This is what Jimy got fired for... and unfortunately, hot and cold streaks are a part of the game.

Its why the season is 162 games long... eventually, the true nature of the team will show up the most... it remains to be seen which version the Astros will take on.

this is like the astros circa every game after 1998 until mid august of this year. we can get pitchers out of a jam like nobody. just pitch around anybody with any semblance of a hot streak going and load the bases until you get to the crappy hitters and you're home free. worked again.

I think they are under a lot of self-imposed pressure because of Garner and the pitching woes. I think they feel like they need to put up 12 runs to win.

    Man,

You could not be more wrong...if they were better they would be starters.

Munro deserved a chance to get out of it, at least one more batter.

How had Rolen done against Munro tonight?

    HMMMMMMMM????

    Cards in 6.

If Garner grows a brain and leaves his starters in longer....

    Stros in 7.
