Honestly... are this many people supporting Pete Munro right now? Where was this support yesterday??? (and last week against Colorado?) This reminds me of Ron Villone (circa 2003) all over again... and Ron was actually much better.
I could go either way with this move. Munro is what he is and Garner knows it. This was his 3rd time through the order and the Cards are making noise now. Would have liked to see what he could have done against Rolen again. You just don't want to push your luck.
Way too early to pull the plug!!! 2 runs and a 2 out single is not bad against the Cards. Keep him in there at least another batter and let him get out of it. I was okay with pulling Backe yesterday, but this is just stupid with the way our bullpen is performing.
