Exactly. That is inexcusable. I was upset with his defensive effort last night as well. Kent needs to start playing with more passion defensively. This is unacceptable.
Stick a fork in Munro, he's done. But man did he come up huge so far. I couldn't have expected any better. He should have gotten out unscathed, though.
The key here is getting out of this inning with the lead... remember game 5 against Atlanta. After the 5th? 3-2 Houston.
a pitching change after 4 2/3 with a runner on and rolen coming up? why does that look familiar. lets hope the results aren't familiar.
Maybe they should put someone right on 2nd base when Pujols is up. He seems to hit it right over the bag.
Don't agree with Garner here, Munro has looked good up until now, and that wasn't a bad pitch to Walker. I'd rather have Munro in there then our middle relievers.
I actually don't like this decision either. That pitch to Walker was not a bad pitch. Instead we rely on our ****ty bullpen to blow it open again. Garner does not know how to handle a pitching staff.
yeah true.. not a bad outing from munro.. too bad woody beat us last night . if we had lost i'd have named him the best cyfair grad ever
But that's precisely why you change him... Rolen is not going to be awful 3 AB's in a row against the same mediocre pitcher...
Garner is blowing this series for us. He really has gotten lucky and now when it really matters his bad decisions are really being exposed.
