The clutch hits are hard to come by. I hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.

Well... at least we got one.... still counts as add on.

Don't let up Petey... even if its 8-9-1 (this is the part that HURT us last night).

Ehhhh, I'd say that's more the Astros not hitting at the right time tonight. Not doing so great with runners in scoring position tonight.

Codell, you're coming pretty darn close to 10k. It would be nice to get it in a thread where the Astros win.

    Touche!

But, i'm specifically talking about Woody's hit in the 5th... if Brandon gets thru that inning unscathed, he probably has better luck w/ the other guys w/out having to pitch from the stretch.

Yeah we got ourselves out in a couple of those innings with brain farts and running errors so i dont think that morris really got us out in those innings when we could have scored.

EDIT - Well they pulled Morris.

5 innings... 3 ER's... if you just look at that, it wasn't a bad outing by him.

We failed to capitlize... but perhaps a change of pace will do them better... just to get a change of pace.

Man, I see Gallo warming up. I get the feeling Garner is gonna be foolish again and pull the starter if he even lets 1 guy on. You never wanna be too quick to get to the Astros bullpen.

I just had the same feeling... of course, Petey's gotta get thru this inning first.

Also... there's something to be said about bringing in a bullpen pitcher with nobody on base, and bringing in one to try and get out of a jam.

We definitely can't be expecting much more from Petey tonight... that was a big walk.

Well, Pete has not gone past the 6th all year long.

Hard to tell what Garner will want to do.

You have to realize, that Pete's performance is going against everything the baseball gods stand for.
