so it would be better to have the rain delay tomorow, to keep munro off the mound for the time being.

I have faith also. I'd also like if Wade Miller and Andy Pettite weren't injured. But I'm not coming up with scenarios for their possible return. Understand what I'm saying?

A rain out today would just push Backe to tomorrow...giving him full rest...BUT...

Game 5 would have Backe going on 3 days. I'd rather have Backe going off his "We made the NLCS" adrenaline and youth.

LOL...is anyone listening to Jim Rome? I think he's finally snapped...LOL!!!

I was listening but then changed it.

Why do you say he has finally snapped?

I think he's immitating someone. He started off going to the break by saying "IT'S YOUR SHOW NOWWWW TAKE IT OOOOOVER! WHERE IS EVERYONE? ANYBODY IN _________? 212...GET ON THE PHOOOOOONES"

    lol...it was hilarious

dude, it's rain. it's not a miracle. it's rain. it's in the forecast. if there's a 50/50 shot at rain, i'm rooting for the 50 that gets my guys an extra day's rest.

I would like a rain out of at least one of these games. If we can just get a split, I really like our chances. Here's to hoping the offense stays hot, because these first few games could be a shootout.

I wish Ron Dibble would get rained out...at least whenever he is going to sing.

I'd like a rain out tomorow...considering I have quite a bit to do tomorow.

I remember how a rainout in 1986 gave Ryan full rest for his start in Game 5. He was awesome, but unfortunately the astros lost 2-1 in extra innings.

Will they rain out a game after 5 innings in the playoffs?

I seriously doubt they would ever do this ... I would hope not at least.

As much as I would hate to win like that ... I would absolutely despise losing like that in the playoffs.

It really is a lose-lose. Looks like tonight defnitely will not be a problem though.
