Harville and Wheeler both have nastier stuff....I don't know why Garner likes Qualls so much..he has not been fooling anyone this post season...and what is the deal with our staff trying to sneak in strike 3 when they have an 0-2 count?

Why not make them chase a slider outside?

    Pete Munro is next.

    The ship is sunk.

Roy Oswalt wouldve b**** slapped the Cardinals. He and Clemens pitching twice was our only chance.

Losing that game 4 vs Atlanta cost us big time.

Not only that... if we lose tonight, you can chalk two losses up to his pitching and his pitching alone. Baseball is supposed to be a team game, but the team has no chance with him.

I think that ship has sailed. This is my problem with throwing 3 straight pitchers out there on 3 days rest; i just don't trust anyone not named Lidge in the bullpen.

I'd just rather have a positive opinion and stick with the team instead of being a bandwagoner who gets off on bashing and being an armchair manager

Tell me DaDa......where were you when the Astros were winning 36 out of 46??? I didn't even notice you were around till your negative ranting thread from the other day

    typical DaDa though :p

Come on, you still love me, don't you? It's only 6 runs I'm responsible for.

Yeah that's the f***ing game. Great.

Our bullpen is worthless. Good job taking Backe out Garner.

    Backe done??????

    Did he ask out??????

If not, why not let him continue, he had been cruising up until that hit by the pitcher......

He needs to get the chance to work out of trouble....

I liked the way Dierker managed the pitching staff, he always said to let the starters try to get out of it because they were his best pitchers.

to be fair, the 13.50 includes the runs he just gave up. before this i think he had given up the 3 run homer and then nothing else in his other 3 appearances. or something like that.

now i know how atlanta felt 2 days ago. 10-4.

Simple. They get hits and manufacture runs. We are relying on the Homerun.

....I have never seen so many people get up and close their tabs this fast before.

I loved the way Dierker managed the pitchers in the playoffs. Bringing in Mike Jackson in the 8th inning, Brilliant!!!

    Pitch selection is ridiculous.

Inside of throwing inside on Rolen, we pitch him away. He gets 1 hit last inning, then we walk him to get to Edmonds.

Jim Edmonds absolutely kills anything low and inside.

what a waste of a good outing on 3 days rest by Backe.

Man..... I feel for the guy. He was so pumped up and cheering on Qualls when he was taken out. But now....this one has to hurt.

Terrible game..... I think i might actuially turn it off......

....Yeah right......I can't do that.......unless they score again this inning.
